Since its 1977 inception and 1979 federal charter, the CCAKD has become a vital representative of Kingston’s Chinese community. Key contributions include participating in the Folklore Festival, sponsoring refugees, donating to local hospitals (KGH and Hotel Dieu), and supporting disaster relief, cultural education, and heritage schools.
